Welcome to the Georgeville Recreation summer program.
The recreation program is one of the many community events operating under the umbrella of the Georgeville Community Association. The Community Association was incorporated as a non profit organization in 1960 and represents the social conscience of the village and is vitally concerned about the issues affecting its present and future. The membership is composed of all citizens in the immediate area. A “hall” provides a social setting for everyone as well as a free lending library and the centre for children’s summer program.
The financing of the operation, including building and maintenance, lawns, park and tennis is funded through volunteer private donations from the membership. The corresponding number of events and programs sponsored by the Association adds considerably to the total quality of life in the village and surrounding community.
